WELCOME! I am fascinated with Wales' rich history and rugged landscape. Within 50 miles I can travel over 3000 years. The Pre-historic, the Roman Era, Middle Ages, and the not so distant Industrial Age - all huddle alongside each other amongst these verdant valleys. This is where I ride and this is why I write this blog.

I Must Ride...

January started off exceptionally well, but quickly fell off with 16 days of snow and ice. I did manage 311 miles, but missed the group challenge of 500 miles for the month.

So today I am off. Despite needing to update my blog with photos and text from last month, the sun is out and so shall I. There is some gusting wind, but the temperature is mild. I'm going to head up into "Cowboy Country".
